Il PASSIVO è una forma verbale in cui il soggetto subisce l’azione (anziché farla), è formato dal verbo essere e dal participio passato e può essere seguito dal complemento d’agente o di causa efficiente che si forma con la preposizione by seguita da un nome o da un pronome complemento.
